THE FINEST GRAVEL RIDING IN THE COUNTRY

GRAVELISTA offers Community & Recreational rides and UCI Age Category racing.

Four ride options are on offer for the Recreational & Community events; 120km, 80km, 45km and 10km, designed for those simply looking for a great gravel day’s out.

And there are two distances in the UCI Age Category Races; 120km & 80km. The UCI 120km race is for Women & Men (19-59). The 80km UCI race is for Women & Men (60+).


GRAVELISTA 120KM

UCI Age Category Race: 9:30am
Recreational Ride: 9:40am


The course starts and finishes atop Beechworth at Mayday Hills, and enjoys 85% of quality gravel riding. There’s a paved 4.5km neutral start before turning right onto gravel roads. The course is rolling, enjoying wide open gravel roads interspersed with the relief of some short, paved road stretches.  The elevation ranged from 180m above sea level right up to 837m, passing through the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park. The finish is again made up of a short paved section before finishing back in Mayday Hills and the event village.

The course counts as the World Championships 2024 qualifier distance for Men & Women (19-59).

Actual Distance: 113.4km / 1,800m vertical

  4. 98.7 km - Mumungee Lookout

GRAVELISTA 80KM

UCI Age Category Race: 10:30am
Recreational Ride: 10:40am


The shorter 80km course makes a shortcut after 17km to skip the 25k loop in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park and turns left after 68km directly back to Beechworth and Mayday Hills.

The 80km course count as the World Championships 2024 qualifier distance for Men & Women (60+).

Actual Distance: 79.4km / 1,200m vertical

GRAVELISTA 45KM

Recreational Ride: 11:30am


While still a solid day out, the shortest 45km course is a more accessible and fun gravel event designed for those wanting to try gravel. Or to simply have a great day out still with friends and mates.
