GRAVELISTA returned to Seymour in 2026 as an official event of the UCI Gravel World Series.

Since its introduction in 2022, the Series has grown to more than thirty qualifying events across the globe, bringing together riders chasing a place at the UCI Gravel World Championships.

GRAVELISTA 2026 was Australia's first qualifying event for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in Haute-Savoie, France, part of cycling's UCI Super Worlds.

But beyond qualification, GRAVELISTA has always been a celebration of gravel riding itself.

From the rolling farmland of the Goulburn Valley to the quiet roads of the Strathbogie Ranges, Seymour once again provided a course full of character. Persistent rain and challenging conditions tested riders throughout the day, but did little to dampen the determination and spirit of those who took part.

With 510 registered riders representing nine countries, GRAVELISTA brought together elite competitors, age-group racers and recreational riders, all sharing the same roads, the same finish line and the same experience.

To everyone who joined us, supported us and helped bring another GRAVELISTA to life — thank you.

QUALIFICATION

The UCI age categories were determined by each rider's age on 31 December 2026.

GRAVELISTA 2026 was an official qualifying event for the 2027 UCI Gravel World Championships in Haute-Savoie, France, part of cycling's UCI Super Worlds.

Riders who finished within the top 25% of their official UCI age category qualified for the Championships. Qualification was calculated based on the number of starters in each category, rather than the number of finishers.

The first three finishers in each official age category qualified automatically, regardless of field size.

BIKES

Riders are permitted to compete on road, gravel, cyclo-cross, mountain, hybrid or city bicycles. Tandem, recumbent and time trial bicycles are not permitted.

E-bikes are welcome in all Recreational Ride categories.

THE RIDE IS ONLY PART OF THE WEEKEND.

Seymour is more than a start and finish line.

Beyond the gravel, there's a region worth discovering. From local wineries, cafés and country pubs to the history and landscapes of the Goulburn Valley and Strathbogie Ranges, there's plenty of reason to stay a little longer.
